A Biker’s Guide to the Open Road

Express Insurance

STEAK, on behalf of Express Insurance wanted to run a competition for motorcyclists to find the best biking routes in the UK. We designed and developed the competition to work with Google Maps, but not require users to have a Google Account.

Following this, we created an infographic of the UK to highlight the winning routes. Each of these was also turned into an illustrated map which users could view and download to take with them when they explore the UK by bike.

The outreach team at STEAK Digital recently completed a project entitled ‘A Biker’s Guide to the Open Road’ for Express Insurance Services – an online resource for bikers.

In the winter of 2014, I appointed Don’t Panic! to carry out the vast majority of the design and development work for this. The aim of this project was to drive engagement to the site and, having just been completed, is on track to hit all of the KPIs set internally at STEAK Digital – testament to the quality of the content produced.
